While deer hunting in South Texas I was told to shoot any predators that popped up. Well this unknowing Coyote appeared so I took a shot with my 3-Gun Ar15. My 1st shot was a bit too far back but my second one was right on.

I think I was off on my first since I felt I rushed my shot. These coyotes hardly ever stick around long enough for you to get a solid shot on them. However, I am usually using a predator call to attract them. In this case I was deer hunting so the coyote did not come in looking for a wounded rabbit or something.

I was hunting with others in the close vicinity and was trying to not disturb their hunt with lots of shooting. So that is the reason for my delay. When it was evident it was not checking out fast enough I made the 2nd shot.
